The Toy Box is located in the heart of Kitsilano on West Broadway. The toy store is located on the south side of the street between Carnarvon and Balaclava. The Toy Box is BC's oldest and largest independent specialty toy store.  Jill Beatty opened the store in October 1972 and was a pioneer in the toy industry.  She was loved and respected in the community of Kitsilano and in the industry across Canada.  Peter Emery operated the Toybox from 2003 until October 2008 when it became the 3rd toy store for Misti & Gary Mussatto.  The Toybox underwent a complete renovation to power-smart lighting, new floors and fixtures to meet the needs of the community and become the flagship store that it is today!
